Bridge of Kindness is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Volunteer Fundraising Coordinator to join our team. This volunteer role is crucial for sourcing and securing the funding necessary for our outreach missions aimed at providing support and assistance to communities in need. As a Fundraising Coordinator, you will be at the heart of our operations, working to ensure our funding page remains current, identifying new donor opportunities, and conducting comprehensive research to uncover new funding avenues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regularly update and maintain the accuracy of the funding page with current funding information and success stories.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with potential new donors, including individuals, corporations, and foundations.
  • Conduct detailed research to uncover new funding opportunities and grants.
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of fundraising strategies and campaigns.
  • Liaise with the communications team to ensure fundraising efforts are well promoted across various platforms.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong commitment to the mission and values of Bridge of Kindness.
  • Excellent research, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in fundraising or a similar role is preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrated capability to effectively use social media and other online tools for promotion and fundraising.
