Bridge of Kindness, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting communities through various seasonal missions, is seeking a talented and compassionate Volunteer Photographer to capture the impactful moments when we deliver items to those in need. This volunteer opportunity is perfect for someone passionate about storytelling through the lens, capturing the essence of community support and the tangible difference our missions make in people’s lives.
Responsibilities:
- Attend our item delivery events throughout the year (approximately 4 per year) to document the delivery process, the items being given, and the recipients.
- Capture high-quality photographs that tell the story of each mission and the joy, gratitude, and community spirit these initiatives foster.
- Work closely with our team to understand the specific photographic needs for each mission.
- Provide a selection of edited photographs after each event for use in our social media, website, and promotional materials, to help raise awareness and support for our cause.
Requirements:
- Own a professional-grade camera and have experience in photography.
- Ability to take candid, respectful shots that accurately represent the mission and its impact on the community.
- Strong editing skills, with the ability to select and prepare photos for different platforms.
- Availability to attend our seasonal missions and events throughout the year.
- Passion for social change and a commitment to the values and goals of Bridge of Kindness.
